The S-type Drop Cable Clamp anchors and supports flat or round fiber optic cables in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network deployments. It secures drop wires on house attachments, reducing working loads on support wires and preventing electrical surges from reaching customer premises during outdoor installations.<\/p>\n

The clamp features corrosion-resistant performance and insulating properties that ensure long service life. It exhibits high mechanical strength, anti-aging characteristics, and Ultraviolet (UV) resistance for durability and environmental stability. Installation requires no additional tools, with a beveled end protecting cables from abrasion and internal grooves increasing friction to prevent loosening. Breaking loads range from 0.5 to 1.5 kilonewtons, with proven performance in temperatures from -60\u00b0C to +60\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

The body uses UV-resistant thermoplastic materials such as Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) or reinforced nylon, combined with stainless steel components (SS201 or SS304). This composition provides moisture, corrosion, and high-temperature resistance. The clamp weighs 25 to 28 grams with dimensions of 135 to 180 millimeters in length, 27 to 30 millimeters in width, and 15 to 22 millimeters in height. It supports cable diameters of 2×5 millimeters for flat cables and 2 to 8 millimeters for round cables.<\/p>\n

Applications include outdoor use in FTTH, Fiber to the X (FTTX), and Fiber to the Building (FTTB) solutions on telecommunication supports, between buildings, and on industrial constructions.
